We partner with premium audio specialists Mark Levinson®, working together to develop bespoke listening solutions that take in-vehicle entertainment to the next level. Mark Levinson® are closely involved at every step. They’re there in the very moment a new car concept is first imagined and developed, so they can ensure the vehicle's interior is precisely calibrated for the optimum acoustics. Speaker placement and calibration is entirely custom to our cabin environments.

MARK LEVINSON® PUREPLAY* is available on the Lexus ES and is the first to feature ‘Mark Levinson® PurePlay’, the 17-speaker Mark Levinson® Premium Surround Sound system* it features seven shoulder height Unity™ speakers. These create a listening experience very close to that of a Mark Levinson® home system.
A vehicle’s atmosphere may be invisible, but it matters. To us, it matters a great deal – so much that we’ve incorporated award-winning Nanoe® technology which monitors and adjusts cabin air quality at a microscopic level. Going beyond the traditional effects of climate control, this innovation guarantees ultimate comfort, at all times.
The Lexus climate concierge individually orchestrates the ideal climate for each person in the car. For example, the system detects the body surface temperature of each occupant as they enter the car, and then sets about achieving comfortable conditions as quickly as possible. If the sun is shining into the car from the driver’s side on a hot day, the system will control airflow and temperature to keep the driver cool, while avoiding excessive cooling of the passenger’s side.
Both rear seats in the Lexus LS are available with a highly sophisticated massage function to reduce fatigue and enhance relaxation. To develop the system we worked closely with an expert in the Japanese technique of shiatsu massage, who advised us on the precise amount of pressure to be applied, its duration, rhythm and flow. The results are deeply satisfying, and very different to anything you may have experienced before.
