We’ve increased the rigidity of the chassis for improved driving precision, and added multi-link rear suspension for greater grip and better handling. The production of the IS 300h was overseen by experienced Takumi craftspeople, who each have at least 20 years’ experience of working with Lexus. Inside the car, you’ll notice exquisite details like wood inlays and a beautifully finished central analogue clock. And you and your passengers will travel in comfort, with sumptuous leather seats, increased passenger legroom and handily folding rear seats for transporting bulky objects.

18-INCH ALLOY WHEELS

These wheels underline your car’s dynamic personality, with a multi-spoke design and an eye-catching metallic finish.

ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL

For a more relaxing drive, Adaptive Cruise Control adapts the car’s speed to maintain a set distance between you and the vehicle in front.

BLIND SPOT MONITOR

Radar devices detect vehicles in adjacent lanes that don’t appear in the side mirrors, warning you should a vehicle appear in the blind spot.

EIGHT AIRBAGS

Both you and your passengers are kept safe thanks to eight airbags. 2-stage head airbags protect the driver and front passenger, while curtain shield airbags run the full length of both cabin sides.

LANE KEEPING ASSIST / AUTOMATIC HIGH BEAM

Thanks to a camera mounted behind the rear-view mirror, the IS 300h will alert you should you stray out of your lane.

At night, the IS 300h automatically switches to low beam when it detects another vehicle.

POP UP HOOD

Activated by sensors, the impact-absorbing hood raises should you collide with a pedestrian, reducing the risk of injury.

PRE-CRASH SAFETY / PEDESTRIAN DETECTION

A millimetre-wave radar and on-board computer calculate collision risk ahead and alert the driver if the risk is high. If a collision is unavoidable, the car will apply the brakes and tighten the front seatbelts automatically.

If a pedestrian is detected, the IS 300h will brake automatically to help avoid a collision.

REAR CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT

While reversing, the Blind Spot Monitor identifies and alerts you to approaching vehicles.

ROAD SIGN ASSIST

The RSA system recognises traffic signs using the windscreen-mounted camera, providing information to the driver through the display screen.

HIGH RESOLUTION DISPLAY

The large 10.3-inch high resolution display is perfectly positioned for a relaxing drive. Operated by Voice Command or Remote Touch, the split screen capability means you can simultaneously access information.

LASER CUT WOOD INLAY

We use innovative laser technology to engrave the IS 300h’s wooden trim, exposing a layer of aluminium for an exquisite lined effect.

LEXUS PREMIUM NAVIGATION

With vivid 3D graphics, points of interest and various mapping options, Lexus Premium Navigation guides you to your destination, even providing you with on-foot directions via a QR code once you’ve parked.

REMOTE TOUCH

Interact intuitively with the central multimedia display with a single press. Ergonomically designed, Remote Touch is as easy to use as a computer mouse.

A STRONG GRIP

A strong chassis makes this sedan agile and excellent at holding the road. The double wishbone front suspension and multi-link rear suspension enhance straight-line performance and cornering grip.

ADVANCED AERODYNAMICS

A near-flat underbody and tiny winglets create superb aerodynamics. First used on F1 racing cars, these winglets pull the airstreams inwards to improve the way the IS 300h cuts through the air, improving fuel efficiency and reducing wind noise.

BOLD ‘SPINDLE GRILLE’

The new IS 300h features a more dynamic ‘spindle grille’, enhancing the car’s sporty feel with a visually lower centre of gravity.

DRIVE MODE SELECT

ECO mode reduces emissions and conserves fuel, while for everyday driving, NORMAL provides a balance of power, economy and comfort. For increased responsiveness, switch to SPORT mode.

LED HEADLIGHTS

Sophisticated ‘L’-shaped LED headlights, underscored by Lexus-signature LED Daytime Running Lights, give the IS 300h a unique look.

LED REAR LIGHTS

At the back of the car, triple-layer ‘L’-shaped LED lights create crystal-like illumination, displaying visibility to following vehicles.

SOPHISTICATED SUSPENSION

The damping force at all four wheels is intelligently controlled by the Adaptive Variable Suspension, creating a more engaging drive and improved comfort.
