V6 PETROL ENGINE

Powering the IS 250 from 0-100 km/h in just 8.5 seconds, the refined and responsive 2.5 litre V6 petrol engine is optimised for dynamic performance.

Light, compact and smooth running it has deep reserves of power - delivering over 208 Bhp (150 kW) of power at 6,400 rpm and more than 250 Nm of torque at 4,800 rpm. At the same time, fuel economy is assured.

Lexus D-4 direct injection technology delivers fuel to the very centre of the cylinder for more uniform combustion and the extremely high injection pressure contributes to a precise and consistent fuel/air mixture. The result: greater power and improved economy.

Performance is enhanced further by dual Variable Valve Timing-intelligent (VVT-i) which automatically adjusts intake and exhaust valves for optimum power delivery and engine efficiency.
