OPERA BALL

Once again, one of the best-known and high-profile events of the European social calendar has waltzed its way into posterity. The Vienna Opera Ball is always a glittering affair, and this year was no exception: a rare mix of dignitaries and debutants held court with socialites and celebrities as the now famous cry of ‘Alles Walzer’ invited guests to dance.

Lexus’ three year extension of its sponsorship of the magnificent Vienna State Opera House sits well alongside this event where Austrian Chancellor Alfred Gusenbauer was amongst those entertained by operatic soprano Anna Netrebko.

This annual spectacle has been grabbing attention since 1935 and live TV coverage ensured that no-one missed out on the glitz and glamour. This year’s ball followed a dinner for Lexus’ guests held at The Grand Hotel’s Japanese restaurant, Unkai, where guests were served the very finest in authentic cuisine and service.
