ULSTER BANK DUBLIN THEATRE FESTIVAL

Lexus Ireland is delighted to announce it’s new sponsorship of the Ulster Bank Dublin Theatre Festival as Official Vehicle Partner. The 54th Dublin Festival has unveiled an enthralling programme of performances encorporating 28 shows in 25 venues throughout Dublin between 29th September and 16th October, 2011.

The Festival continues to nurture and showcase the work of young Irish companies alongside many Irish and global theatrical giants. 2011 is no exception, and features a wealth of exciting local and international work including Colm Tobin's Testament, the first new Festival commision in eleven years, and ten world premieres from companies such as the Abbey Theatre and the National Theatre of Great Britain.

Each year the Festival gives audiences the opportunity to see many world class shows and enjoy unique Festival experiences. Opening the Festival in the Gaiety Theatre is the spellbinding and breathtaking Donka, A letter to Chekhov, a dazzling feat of aerial acrobatics, multi-media illusion and circus magic.

The Family season presented by the Festival and The Ark, A Cultural Centre for Children, will present a season of acclaimed international productions for families, bringing back to Dublin three of the best theatre companies in the world making theatre for young people.
