LEXUS CHASE 2010
Lexus Ireland are very proud to sponsor The Lexus Chase 2010, this great sporting occasion is the highlight of the Christmas festival at Leopardstown Racecourse.
Over the years this Grade 1 chase has produced a string of stirring encounters and it is little wonder that it has gained such a wonderful reputation both with avid followers of National Hunt Racing.
This is not just a race; it is a wonderful sporting and social occasion and reflects all that is great about National Hunt Racing. We think of the courage of the likes of Beef or Salmon, a 3 time winner, The wonderful personality of Best Mate, the style of Denman and of course all the hopes and aspirations that they carried. But just as important is the infectious enthusiasm for National Hunt so evident in the connections of each and every horse that runs in this race. These are people who put their hearts and souls into their horse and are so integral to the whole make up of this sport. They create an atmosphere around the day, and indeed long in advance of the day, which is the epitome of sportsmanship and which keeps us all enthralled.
