Launch of the Lexus Race to Mount Juliet
In a major boost for the Irish PGA tournament circuit it has just been announced that the top 30 in the Irish PGA Order of Merit will qualify for the finale of the “Lexus Race to Mount Juliet in association with Ping” where they will play for an additional €50,000 in Prize Money, over the weekend of October 15th/16th.
The winner of "The Lexus Race to Mount Juliet" will receive a €10K bonus, a place in the following seasons PGA Championship at Wentworth and a place in the starting line up at the 3 Irish Open.

‘As an international luxury brand we sponsor golf throughout the world, with our flagship being the association with the British Open. The Irish market has been a strong supporter of Lexus and we saw this as an ideal way of saying “Thank You” while being involved with a very positive initiative and one which will provide an opportunity for the winner to make his mark at an international level’.
The event has been welcomed across the Professional Game in Ireland.

It will ensure that our order of merit race will be in doubt right to the last and will make for a wonderful festival of golf at Mount Juliet in mid October.’
