Lexus Sponsorship of the Open Championship 2010
The 150th anniversary of The Open Championships will see the tournament return to the Home of Golf. The 2010 Championship will be the 28th time that St Andrews has hosted the event since 1873. There have been 22 separate winners throughout that time. 2010 will also see the famous 17th "Road Hole", possibly the most famous hole in golf, lengthened for the first time in over 100 years.
Tom Watson, who made a remarkable run at this year's Open at Turnberry, only to be beaten in a play-off by Stewart Cink, has said the 2010 event will in all likelihood be his last.
Lexus is an Official Patron and the Car Supplier to The Open Championship, which takes place from the 15th to the 18th July.
